RIDING THROUGH THE WILDERNESS TO RAISE MONEY FOR ITS PROTECTION
This September, the TENT team will be cycling once again through the Carpathian Mountains in Romania in order to raise funds for TENT’s educational initiative: Regatul Salbatic (or Wild Kingdom). Romania’s natural resources are a global conservation priority – benefitting the people of Romania, and the world, with improved livelihoods and health. Educating the next generation is of great importance for the future.
This year we also have a new route! Beginning at the fantastic Inn on Balaban with panoramic views of two national parks, cycling on to stay at the residence of HRH The Prince of Wales and ending at the beautiful Zabola Estate. TENT is now also working in partnership with The Slow Cyclist – Romania’s top cycling operator.
The ride will also take in many cultural places of interest and the evenings will be spent enjoying fantastic local food and wines. This is a ride not a race – all abilities are very welcome.
Places are extremely limited – with over half already sold – so please get in touch now to reserve yours.
If you would like to organise a private ride with just you and your friends and family please get in touch.
– ENJOY AND EXPLORE THE WILDS OF RURAL TRANSYLVANIA
There is no better way to see Transylvania than by bicycle, to make the most of the views, smells and sounds of a place where you can travel 200 kilometres without seeing a fence. The combination of the TENT team and the Slow Cyclist made it a trip all of us want to repeat with families.
