The European Nature Trust organises several events each year, the proceeds of which go to the conservation projects we help to fund. The first event scheduled for 2021 will be:
“Dehesa – The Forest of The Iberian Lynx”
BRITISH FILM INSTITUTE – SOUTHBANK
Date To Be Set For 2021
The Dehesa region of Spain is renowned for its stunning landscapes with rich and diverse ecosystems supporting an abundance of wild flora and fauna.
Not only are we giving you the opportunity to enjoy spectacular footage, but we are also putting on a spread of delicious Spanish food and wines over which you can you’ll be praising the skill of the filmmakers and producers.
The screening will be held in 2021 at the BFI Southbank and will be the UK Premiere of “Dehesa – The Forest of The Iberian Lynx”. Dates to be determined.
The event is in aid of the Foundation for the Conservation of Biodiversity and its Habitat (CBD). Striving for the recovery, conservation and reintroduction of the Iberian lynx, CBD work to develop connection units between lynx habitats and also support the expansion of rabbit populations.
This amazing film is brought to us by renowned BBC and National Geographic wildlife documentary director Joaquín Gutiérrez Acha, and produced by José María Morales, founder of Wanda Films. A film in celebration of the Spanish Dehesa, its wilderness and wildlife. We will be flying with eagles, following the Iberian lynx and seeing this unique ecosystem as it has never been seen before.
